Tangy Coconut Amla Chutney

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh grated coconut
  • 1 tbsp koh! Amla Powder
  • 1 tbsp koh! Curry Leaf Powder
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 small garlic clove (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

For Tempering

  • 1 tsp oil
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • A few curry leaves
  • 1 dried red chilli

Method

  1. Blend coconut, koh! Amla Powder, koh! Curry Leaf Powder, green chillies, garlic, salt, and a little water into a smooth chutney.
  2. Transfer to a serving bowl.
  3. Heat oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and red chilli. Let them splutter.
  4. Pour the tempering over the chutney and mix gently.

Serve fresh with idli, dosa, pesarattu, or steamed rice.
