Tomato Rice

Ingredients:

  • 2 Bowls Rice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (such as canola or sunflower oil)
  • koh! Tomato powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chana dal
  • 2 t ablespoons salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 3-4 Red chillis
  • 1/2 Peanuts
  • 1/2 cashews

     

    Instructions:

    • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
    • Add Red Chilli, cumin seeds, Chana Dal, Peanut, cashews
    • Add 1 t ablespoons of salt. 
    • Everything Mix together for 2-3 minutes in medium flame.
    • Add 2 Bowls of rice.
    • Add 2-3 T ablespoons of koh! Tomato Powder
    • Mix well and rest for 2 minutes 
    • Check Salt , Add If needed.
    • Once the tomato rice is heated through, turn off the heat. Let it sit covered for a few more minutes.
    • Serve the tomato rice.
