Carrot and Tomato Sabudana Vada

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes (mashed)
  • Sabudana (Sago pearls)
  • Onions (finely chopped)
  • Green chili (chopped)
  • Curry leaves (chopped)
  • Koh Food’s dehydrated green chili powder
  • Salt
  • Koh Food’s tomato powder
  • Koh Food’s carrot powder
  • Butter (for pan-frying)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, sabudana, finely chopped onions, chopped green chili, and chopped curry leaves.
  2. To the mixture, add Koh Food’s dehydrated green chili powder, salt, Koh Food’s tomato powder, and Koh Food’s carrot powder. Ensure thorough mixing to evenly distribute the flavors.
  3. Form the mixture into vadas (patties) of your desired size.
  4. Heat a pan and add butter to it.
  5. Pan-fry the sabudana vadas on the buttered pan until they turn golden brown and crisp on both sides.
  6. Ensure the vadas are cooked through by checking their internal temperature or cutting one open to verify.
  7. Once done, remove the vadas from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess butter.
